Gala Day

Bridge of Weir - Gala Day
9th June 2007

The village had an excellent Gala Day on Saturday 9th June helped in no small way with the wonderful weather. The Community Council had a stand with a "petting zoo" for the children (at no cost ) although the adults seemed as fascinated with the animals. The animals ranged from snakes, cockroaches, rabbits, mice, ducks and a cockerel called Elvis. The zoo was extremely busy throughout the day.
