Scottish League (Canada Cup) Bridge of Weir 1 Achtungs 3

"After some brisk play by both sides at mid-ice, Achtungs took control of the puck and after W R Higginbotham and H W Reid had carried play within reach of A M McPhee, Reid scored with a well placed shot.

W R Higginbotham was conspicuous in the opening minutes of the second period by scoring a second goal for Achtungs after a splendid solo run. The game was all in favour of Achtungs their opponents showing little cohesion and W R Higginbotham added a third goal.
Although Achtungs had the better of play in the final period, Bridge of Weir on several occasions made determined efforts and from one of these W M Muirhead scored."
