Scottish League (Canada Cup) Bridge of Weir 0 Queen's 2
"Kelvingrove can now claim to be the only undefeated club in the league as Bridge of Weir, the leaders, were defeated by two goals to nil by a strong Queen's side at the Scottish Ice Rink, Crossmyloof, Glasgow last night.
The game was stubbornly contested throughout both sides exerting themselves to the utmost yet Queen's were undoubtedly worthy of their win which was mainly due to the splendid work of A J Tingley. Queen's had their side strengthened by the inclusion of P Peltier, a French-Canadian, who is to appear for the Calgarolite side this evening against a Glasgow select.
The scoring was opened by Tingley during the first period when A N McPhie only partially saved his shot by catching the puck between his feet.
Bridge of Weir combined better in the second period but their finishing, for the league leaders especially, was woefully weak any shot attempted being easily stopped by V Carty. From a well taken pass, F L Reardon wormed his way through and secured a second goal."
