Scottish League (Canada Cup) Bridge of Weir 2 Dennistoun Eagles 0

"Bridge of Weir consolidated their position at the top of the Canada Cup league table when they defeated Dennistoun Eagles at the Scottish Ice Rink, Crossmyloof, Glasgow last night after a rather poor game. J F Logan played well for Dennistoun in goal and had some excellent saves.

Dennistoun's goal had a narrow escape in the first minute and then W G McDonald had a long shot for Bridge of Weir which Logan just saved. At the other end, S Stevenson just missed with a low shot.

A F Reid scored a soft goal for Bridge of Weir at the start of the second period but Logan then saved well from McDonald.

In the final period, R E Muirhead scored a good goal for Bridge of Weir."
