"At the Scottish Ice Rink, Crossmyloof, Glasgow on Saturday night. Glasgow High School were the more superior in tackling and goals were quickly scored for them by A Buchanan and A S Knight. In the second half, the Ranfurly side made several strong raids but too much enthusiasm spoiled likely chances.

Bridge of Weir took up the offensive and W Muirhead opened their account with a fine goal. Shortly afterwards the same player brought the scores level. Pressure on the Bridge of Weir goal resulted in A Buchanan again giving his side the lead and towards the finish A S Knight capped a fine movement by scoring a second and spectacular goal."
