Mitchell Trophy Bridge of Weir 1 Glasgow Skating Club 3

"Bridge of Weir attacked at the start but after some scrappy play in the vicinity of J B Wharrie, Skating Club attacked and J O McCabe scored. This success was quickly followed by another goal from the same player.

The second period was marred to a great extent by off-side play.

In the third period, I Borland put Skating Club further ahead. Towards the close, Bridge of Weir rallied and in a quick raid, W M Muirhead scored their solitary point."
