Scottish League (Canada Cup) Bridge of Weir 0 Queen's 3
"At the Scottish Ice Rink last night, Dr B Watson scored a spectacular goal for Queen's in the opening minutes and before the end of the same period, A Ross had a good save from the same player.
In the early minutes of the second period, Ross made a splendid low save from Watson and later the latter player shot over before scoring a second goal for Queen's, Ross failing to hold the puck. Bridge of Weir nearly scored in a rally and W G McDonald later had a fine effort which just went past.
The final period proved the most exciting of all. McDonald was sent off for an infringement on A J Tingley and after he had scored a great third goal with a first time effort, J K Woodrow was sent off for another infringement. Bridge of Weir made determined efforts to score and before the end, Queen's goal had three lucky escapes."
